My approach:
Holistic Foot Care
Unfortunately for some, foot issues can be a problem from birth, however the majority of issues I deal with involve pain, dysfunction and the desire to have a perfect feet again. Most of these problems are on an on-going treatment basis – effectively keeping things in check; but some prognoses may require a more invasive treatment to correct the problem.
Most podiatrists don’t offer such a wide range of treatments. Here are the services we offer at both our Oxford and Mayfair clinics:
Nail Problems
For those people who suffer with ingrown nails or onychomycotic (fungal nail infection) nail plates a minor operation can be performed which can give a permanent solution to the problem of constant pain or discomfort. This is done by removing part or all of the nail plate. If all of the nail plate is removed, a reconstruction can be made, giving the appearance of a healthy nail.
Bespoke Orthotics
Orthoses (bespoke shoe inserts) can help correct various problems such as lower back, hip and knee pain, as well as helping with foot alignment and arch support. With the correct measurements and adjustments we are able to mould perfectly fitting orthotics which can help to relieve painful feet, heels, pressure from bunions, as well as mobilise the ankles and improve balance.
Dermal Filler Foot Padding
A new way to add comfort to those areas of pressure brought on by callus or corn formation. Over time the fatty padding on the soles of our feet displaces and this can bring on areas of thinning tissue. Dermal fillers over the metatarsal heads can bring great relief to those stress points and this treatment is particularly effective for those who like to wear high-heeled shoes.
Nail Reconstruction
A restoration of those damaged or onychomycotic (fungal nail infected) nails is now available. This can change the appearance of an unsightly nail plate and make showing off your feet a much more pleasurable experience.

Services: A broad range – including minor surgical solutions, fillers, and orthotics
MINOR SURGICAL SOLUTIONS
Most chiropodists & podiatrists don’t offer this kind of service. I can often fix long-standing issues quickly, with minimal discomfort and downtime.
SPORTS INJURIES
I treat all manner of sports injuries such as fractures, shin splints, ankle sprains, achilles tendonitis and knee pain. Amateur and professional athletes alike get the same level of expert care.
BUNIONS
Crooked big-toe joints (or ‘bunions’) can cause pain and lead to arthritis. Quick treatment is crucial to avoid further deterioration.
CHILDREN
Youngster’s feet experience many changes as they grow and development. Foot & leg alignment is assessed prior to the correction of common childhood issues.
ORTHOTICS
These help with poor alignment, plantar fasciitis and pain in the ankles, feet and hips. They are unique to you.
DERMAL FILLERS
As we get older we lose collagen and elastin. Dermal fillers can help to effectively plump up the soles of the feet to provide more cushioning and alleviate discomfort.
FUNGAL NAILS
Unsightly, uncomfortable and some-times embarrassing, I can offer you a treatment plan to alleviate this issue and stop any further spread.
FLAT FEET
A bio-mechanical assessment is carried out to analyse gait. Footwear advice and orthotics normally solve the issue. These can be a godsend, especially if you’re on your feet all day.
INGROWN TOENAILS
Ingrown toenails can be extremely uncomfortable. Relief can usually be achieved in one visit. In extreme cases minor nail surgery might be required. Contact me for a quote.
HEEL SPURS
The most common cause of heel and arch pain is plantar fasciitis. This is a common ailment that can be fixed using orthotics and dermal fillers (to improve the cushioning of the anterior side of the foot).
